Competition Day Duty Rosters

  Duty Roster
As per the Parent Agreement Form completed prior to number collection through TEAM APP - each family requires a parent or care giver to perform a duty on the roster every second weekend. For each weekend you can nominate for your selected event ahead of time. All nominations are completed through the ResultsHQ Website.  Parent Agreement Form Link: forms.gle/Wcx5RKbF24CasCB27

Nominations open 8am Monday morning before the Saturday Competition and close at 8pm Thursday.

Don't worry, it's pretty straight forward and enjoyable. You get to see the athletes close up.

Important Note: For special events all families will be required to complete a duty.

Parent helpers
It is important to understand that Little Athletics is a volunteer sport and we require parents to assist with the running of our competitions. All parents must complete a duty for the entire duration of their roster. If parents cannot make their duty, the carer of the child is expected to fulfill the requirements. This ensures that the day not only runs on time but also ensures a fun, well executed day for all involved.

There are many duties that need to be filled through the day and the children love seeing their families/friends get involved as well as it shows a lovely sense of support to them and our centre. Whether this is by assisting with marshalling at track or field events or lending a hand on the BBQ, it is true the saying that many hands make light work.

The beauty is that no experience is necessary. However if parents wish to educate themselves a little more, they can review the rules of every event by visiting the the Australian Institute of Sport information and learning modules located her here.

Committee members along with coaches are in attendance to assist athletes throughout the day. But this help assists not only the committee, athletes and the day to day running of the competition, but also the Age Managers, who have such an important role.
